Even before the race the surface of the track was cooking and there was not a single cloud in sight.
The team of Jacos Paddock once again sent their two main RCN-drivers Jaco Velders and Patrick Zufelde into the race.

The team of Jaco's Paddock once again sent their two main RCN-drivers Jaco Velders and Patrick Zufelde into the race.

Patrick Zufelde did the first part of the race. Although he was a little bit slower in the first sprint lap, he could keep up with the competition and he even achieved a new personal record towards the end of the sprint laps.

After the pit stop the team boss Jaco Velders went out on the track. He showed a convincing performance with constant fast lap times. Despite the strong competition, the team could achieve an unexpected third place in the class, after a flawless race.

After the 2. place in the third race, this was the second podium in a row at the RCN and once again a trophy was brought home.

Coming up is the highlight of the VLN season, the 6-hour race on 31st of July 2010.
