After the long summerbreak the last third of the VLN Langstrecken-
meisterschaft season started.

The team of Jacos Paddock sent the drivers Lorenzo Rocco and Teofilo Masera with the well known number 493 into the race. After fridays
training took place in the rain, the course was wet during qualifiying on saturday morning, but was starting to dry in certain areas.

Lorenzo Rocco could reach 2nd place in the class V6 and 102nd overall ranking of 201 qualified cars on custom cut Hankook tires with a lap time of 11:26.288 min..

He performed the starting turn and could stay in second position at the beginning, but was soon overtaken by two competitors.

The next turn was done by Teofilo Masera after a flawless pitstop. He could keep the car in 4th position and handed the car back over to Lorenzo Rocco after his turn.

After 4 laps of Lorenzo Rocco’s final turn, the race had been stopped by the race control due to safety risks involved after several accidents in the area of Hatzenbach, Fuchsröhre and Aremberg, resolving in guardrail damages and rescue activities.

At this point the number 493 was in 6th position in class and 117th in the overall ranking and could be parked in the Parc Fermé without any damages.

On Saturday the 09 th of October 2010 the team of Jaco‘s Paddock will compete in the next run of the RCN and one day later on Sunday the 10 th of October 2010 participate at the International ADAC / RGB season finals on the Grand Prix course.
